Obituary--The Evening Sun, Tuesday, March 5, 1974---Mrs. Cletus E. F.Houck--Mrs. Ruth M. Houck, 80, wife of Cletus E. F. Houck, of 355 HighSt., died Monday at 8:45 a.m. at Hanover General Hospital. Born inHanover, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma StonesiferGobrecht. She belonged to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she hadbeen a Sunday School teacher 30 years. She was a member of the Ladie'sAuxiliary of Grangeville Fire Co. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Houckis survived by a son, David C. Houck, Arendtsville; three grandchildren,and eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Della Regile, 243 W. Chestnut St.;William Gobrecht, Hanover RD 2; Emory Gobrecht, 27 W. Chestnut St.,Clayton Gobrecht, 616 E. Middle St; Edward Gobrecht, 107 N. Franklin St.,Joseph Gobrecht, 202 Diller Road; Mrs. Emma Weisensale, 230 South St.,and Mrs. Edna Sterner, 510 Frederick St. Rev. Arthur Ruths willofficiate at services Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549Carlisle St. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. there will be noviewing. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to the St.Matthew Lutheran Church building fund.
