[Leppo.FTW] [William Grobrecht Descendants.FTW] Obituary--(written in date) 4 Jul 1979--Clayton N. Gobrecht, 81, of 616E. Middle St., died Wednesday morning at his home. A native of AdamsCounty, he was a son of the late John and Emma Stonesifer Gobrecht. Hewas semi-retired from the Hanover Shoe Company, and was employed as acustodian at Trinity United Church of Christ. He was also a member ofthat church. Surviving are his wife, Frances R. Sterner Gobrecht; fourchildren, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Fisher, 165 Penn St.; Crosby C.Gobrecht, 206 Penn St.; Mrs. William (Phyllis) Warner, 208 Second Ave.,and Rodney S. Gobrecht, 316 High Falcon Rd., Reisterstown, Md.; fourbrothers, Emory Gobrecht, 27 W. Chestnut St.; William Gobrecht, HanoverRD 2; Edward Gobrecht, 107 No. Franklin St., and Joseph Gobrecht, 202Diller Rd.; three sisters, Mrs Della E. Reigle, 243 W. Chestnut St.; Mrs.Walter (Edna) Sterner, 510 Frederick St., and Mrs. Emma S. Wisensale, 230South St.; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services willbe held Friday at 2 p.m. from the Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 FrederickSt., with his pastor, the Rev. Carroll C. Luckenbaugh, officiating.Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeralhome this evening. Contributions maybe made to the Visiting NurseAssociation or to Trinity United Church of Christ. |
