Amelia Virginia Guiler, 90, died on April 7 at the Lutheran Homes in Clinton. The daughter of Julius and Clara Heynen was born Nov. 28, 1904, in New York City, graduated from the Parson School of Design, was a landscape artist, and moved to the Kathering Luther Home in 1992. Survivors are one son, Carl Theobald, Utica; four grandchildren, Virginia Booth, Carrie, Michael, and David Theobald. A daughter, Joanne Booth died before her. No funeral service is planned at this time and her remains have been donated to the SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse. Donations may be considered to a favorite charity. |
