Published in Baltimore Sun on May 2, 2011 LORENZET , Leo Peter LEO PETER LORENZET, U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, died April 27, 2011 with his two children at his side. He was the devoted husband of 64 years to Philomena Fittipaldi Lorenzet and a loving father to his daughter Ginny L. Cook and her husband Lynnie of Baltimore, Md., and his son Richard L. Lorenzet and his wife Susan of Forest Hill, Md. He is survived by three grandchildren, Rachel Cook, Christopher Lorenzet and Daniel Lorenzet, one sister, Lena Celot, and many nieces and nephews. Nine other brothers and sisters-Alda Masut, Gallie Arconti, Mary Zanchettin, Gene Lorenzet, Angelo Lorenzet, Tavio Lorenzet, Leila Curcio, Sophie Barry and Norma Liero--predeceased him. Relatives and friends may call at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services-Parkville, 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, Md., 21234 on Thursday, May 5, from 3 - 5 pm and 7 - 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in his name to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 North Randolph Street, suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203 (Please include the name and address of the next of kin so the family may acknowledge your gift.) He will be interred with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a date to be determined by the Department of Veterans Affairs. |
