Death notice, Morning Call: Mary Zanchettin August 17, 2004 | The Morning Call Mary Lorenzet Zanchettin, 95, of Pen Argyl, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born in Pen Argyl on Aug. 15, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Pietro and Lucia (DeNardi) Lorenzet. Before retiring in 1974, she was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Gaye Sportswear, Wind Gap, and previously for the former Bangor Clothing and Cali Sportswear, Pen Argyl. She was a member of St. Rochs Catholic Church, West Bangor. She was a former member of I.L.G.W.U. She was the wife of Antonio Zanchettin, who died Nov. 15, 1951. Survivors: Sons, Joseph A. Zanchettin, Peter Zanchettin and Norman Zanchettin and his wife, Betty, and daughter, Lenora Emrick and her husband, Peter, all of Pen Argyl; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lena Celot of Easton; brothers, Otavio Lorenzet and Leo Lorenzet, both of Baltimore, Md. Brothers, James and Angelo, and sisters, Alda Masut, DeLeila Curcio, Gallia Arconti, Sophie Barry and Norma Liero, all died earlier. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2004 in the church, Verona Avenue, West Bangor. There will be a viewing from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Guerro & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 126 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Pen Argyl. Interment, St. Elizabeths Cemetery, Pen Argyl.
