He was the husband of Norma (Lorenzet) Liero, to whom he was married 45 years. Before retiring in 1981, he was a foreman for the former Pioneer Manufacturing Co., Stockertown, where he worked 35 years. Born in Wind Gap,, he was a son of the late Calogero and Angelina (Yapelli) Liero. He was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Wind Gap. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors: Wife; sons, Steven of Havertown, Delaware County, John of Pen Argyl and Robert in Virginia; daughters, Patricia Dally of Easton and Wendy Diorio of East Bangor; brothers, Richard and James, both of Wind Gap; sisters, Mabel, Marlene Hunter, Mary Dobes and Theresa Dopsovic, all of Wind Gap, and Lilly Lewis of Bethlehem, and seven grandchildren.
