[Leppo.FTW] Obituary--William K. Leppo, Sr. (written in date) January 6,1983--Westminster--William Kump Leppo St., 73, of 3232 Murkle Road,Westminster, died early this morning at his home following an extendedillness. Born in Carroll County, he was the son of the late David H. andAddie Warehime Leppo. Before his retirement, he was a farmer and abutcher. He was a member of North Carroll Rod and Gun Cloug, the HanoverMoose club, the Eagles of Gettysburg, PA and Benjamim (Krider's) UnitedChurch of Christ. Surviving are his wife, Helta E. Leppo; fourdaughters, Ethel Meyer of Africa, Ruth Crist of Columbia, PA, Edna MayWasmer of Westminster, and Shirley Mayer of New Oxford, PA; two sons,William K. and Emory Leppo, both at home; two sisters, Romaine Baugher ofWestminster, and Marie Dutterer of Martinsburg, W VA; two brothers, Earland Woodrow Leppo both of Westminster; 15 grandchildren; and 10great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from thePitts Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster. The Rev. CharlesStanfield, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Miller MemorialCemetery in Bachman Valley. Friends may call at the funeral home Fridayfrom 7 to 9 and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of othermemorials, the family requests that contributions be made in his name toBenjamin's (Krider's) United Church of Christ, Westminster, 21157.
