Oscar J. Sholl died this morning at 10.30 o'clock at his home, 544 Baeravenue, at the age of 40 years and one day. Death was due to acomplication of diseases. Mr. Sholl was a son of Henry and the lateSarah Warner Sholl. Surviving are his father, who resides near Melrose,Md.; his wife, who before marriage was Miss Sadie Riffle; three children,Curvin, Bernell and Helen, at home; two brothers, William Sholl, nearMelrose and Curvin Sholl, Parkville, and three sisters, Mrs. MollieSullivan, Pennville; Mrs. Otto Harman and Mrs. Howard Wine, nearMelrose. Mr. Sholl was affiliated with Hanover Aerie, No. 1406,Fraternal Order of Eagles, Hanover Lodge, No. 227, Loyal Order of Moose,and Hanover Fire Company, No. 1. He was a member of Trinity Reformedchurch, where he served as deacon, and was a member of the Sunday schoolclass taught by John Waltman. Funeral services will be held Sundayafternoon at 1.30 o'clock from his late residence, with further servicesin Trinity Reformed church, York street. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. MarsbyJ. Roth, will officiate. Burial will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
