[Bankert.FTW] In Memoriam Crowl- In loving memory of Mrs. Emma P. Crowl, who passed away one year ago, January 22, 1943. Gone is the face I loved so dear, Silent is the voice I loved to hear; Too far away for sight or speech. But not too far for thought to reach. Deep in my heart lies a picture Of a loved one laid to rest; In memory’s frame I shall keep it Because she was one of the best. God knows how much I miss her, never shall her memory fade; Loving thoughts shall ever wander, To the spot where she is laid. Her Husband We are longing for footsteps that we never will hear, And a voice that we love, now is still; We never will see that dear smiling face, She is sleeping way up on the hill. Somewhere the sun is shining today, And somewhere the song birds dwell; Somewhere a soul is resting in peace, That some one is our mother. Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Crowl and Family The dearest one from us has gone, A voice we loved is still; A place is vacant in my heart That never can be filled. We often sit and thin of you, And speak of how you died; To think you could not say good-bye, Before you closed your eyes. Some say time heals an aching heart, But no, it isn’t true; For one long year has passed, dear, And our hearts still ache for you. Mr. & Mrs. Lester H. Krumrine and Family A mother dear, a mother kind, Has gone and left us here behind; “Twas hard to part, but God knew best, To take her to her heavenly rest. If you ask us, do we miss her? Yes, it fills our hearts with pain; but her spirit sweetly whispers, Courage, in Heaven we’ll meet again. Dear mother, you’ll never be forgotten, Never shall your memory fade; Sweetest thoughts will ever linger, Around the grave where you are laid.
