ANNIVERSARY OF THE SCHOOL OF THE REFORMED DUTCH CHURCH. — The celebration
of the Two Hundred and Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the School of
the Reformed Dutch Church took place last evening, at the Greenwich
Church edifice, in Bleecker-street, coorer of West Tenth. The school
receives scholars from all the Reformed Churches, being under the
control of tihe Collegiate Church. The education afforded Is free
— the only requisite being the attendance of the scholars upon
the Sunday School, and of the parents upon the Church, as regular
members. Notwithstanding the bad weather of last evening, the building
was crowded to its utmost capacity with those interested in the exercises;
which passed or with considerable spirit, and with credit to all
concerned.

The programme was made up of recitations in arithmetic, grammar,
geography, etc., with declamation and singing — the number taking
part being one hundred and forty-six. The Rev. Thomas C. Strong,
pastor of the Greenwich Church, distributed the premiums and presented
the "honors" of the school to the Graduating Class of 1859, accompanying
the ceremony with appropriate remarks. Flowing are the names of the
graduates: Misses Mary W. Brant, Sophia E. Brant, Emma A. Blanch,
Elisabeth Dolde, Emma L. Lefman, Harriet Reger, Nancy
