Sarah (Lennington)(61) was born about 1756. She died WFT Est. 1771-1850.

She was married to Thomas Linington WFT Est. 1770-1800. From "New
York G & B Record", Vol 107, p.145:

Sarah Lennington, widow of Thomas, appeared before Kings Co. Court,
6 March 1839, and stated she was aged 83, applied for a pension on
service of late husband. Per Pension application file W20439 at National
Archives.

New-York Daily Tribune, Vol. X, No. 2927, Tuesday, September 3, 1850:

The oldest person found in the city thus far by the Marshals is Mrs.
Sarah Lenington, 105 years old, born in New Jersey. She can see
to read without spectacles.

Allie Shand writes:

US Census, 1850, Brooklyn, 9th Ward lists the following as belonging
to the same Household (133) and Dwelling (98) numbers: Sarah Lenington,
b. 1745 NJ, Age 105 years John E Thorne, b. 1814 NY, Age 34 years
Amanda P. Thorne, b. 1831, Age 19 years Abigail Lenington, b. 1838,
Age 12 years.

John E. Thorne was Sarah (Sickerton) Lenington's grandson, so there's
a generation missing in the household. John E. Thorne is listed as
Amanda and Abigail's father. Amanda P. Thorne married James M. Gray,
who was the head of the Moody Bible Institute and wrote some hymns.
It appears that he was pretty influential in NY religious circles.
Amanda died in childbirth n 1860
