He was married to Sarah (Lennington) WFT Est. 1770-1800. From "New
York G & B Record", Vol 107, p.145:

Sarah Lennington, widow of Thomas, appeared before Kings Co. Court,
6 March 1839, and stated she was aged 83, applied for a pension on
service of late husband. Per Pension application file W20439 at National
Archives.

The New York City Directory for 1791 shows:

Lenington, Thomas, porter house, corner of Nassau and George streets.

Jersey, in 1775, Sarah Sickerton. (She had once claimed the marriage
took place on 20 April 1778 but changed her testimoney when applying
for pension rights.) He died on April 2, 1829. His wife resided during
the war in Bulls Ferry, New Jersey. He served as an ensign in Captain
John Nicholson's Company and took part in attempting to capture ____
Ross who was loading a vessel at Fort Ann on the Saint Lawrence River
with supplies. He states they were able to take the vessel and its
cargo, but were recaptured by the British and held as prisoners-of-war.
